RELIGIOUS Education

In our Religious Education programs, our teachers join your children on their faith journey with lessons, prayers, crafts and stories. Our program is designed to meet the needs of your child's faith formation, whether your child is just beginning the process of preparing for their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, or continuing their faith journey up to the eighth grade level.

Elementary School Program

In our Religious Education programs, catechists engage your child in their faith journey with lessons, prayers, crafts, songs and bible stories about God.  Of course, Parents are still considered the primary educators of your children in matters of faith formation—and we always honor that role!

Our program meets the needs of your child’s faith formation, whether he/she is just beginning the 2- year process of preparing for their first sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) and Eucharist (Holy Communion), or continuing their faith journey after receiving sacraments, up to the eighth grade level!

For sacramental preparation, we use the series "God's Gift: 2016 edition" from Loyola Press. This program helps us to prepare students and their families for a lifetime of faith inspired by the graces received in the sacraments.

In addition to sacramental preparation, our program offers children lessons that enrich their Catholic faith formation. Through engaging instruction, they explore the feasts of the liturgical calendar, dive into the Bible, learn about the lives of the saints, and cover other key aspects of our Catholic tradition, helping them grow in both knowledge and spiritual understanding.  Our classes are enriched with the program "Finding God: Our Response to God’s Gifts"® from Loyola Press, a program that provides the ideal foundation for a life of intentional discipleship. Rooted in Scripture, Catholic doctrine, and Ignatian spirituality, this resource is thoughtfully designed for today’s learners. It offers a modern approach to catechesis, integrating technology to engage children while encouraging them to deepen their relationship with God and recognize His presence in all areas of life.
