Religious Education

In our Religious Education programs, our teachers join your children on their faith journey with lessons, prayers, crafts and stories. Our program is designed to meet the needs of your child's faith formation, whether your child is just beginning the process of preparing for their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, or continuing their faith journey up to the eighth grade level. For information about signing your child up for Religious Education, please contact Gloria Fetta at (949) 951-8599 ext. 230.

Religious Education

2017-2018

In our Religious Education programs, catechists engage your child in their faith journey with lessons, prayers, crafts, songs and bible stories about God.  Of course, Parents are still considered the primary educators of your children in matters of faith formation—and we always honor that role!

Our program meets the needs of your child’s faith formation, whether he/she is just beginning the 2- year process of preparing for their first sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession) and Eucharist (Holy Communion), or continuing their faith journey after receiving sacraments, up to the eighth grade level!

For sacramental preparation, we will also be implementing a new series by Matthew Kelley called Blessed.

Older students study from a Catholic series from RCL Benziger Publisher. This series is Christ-centered and a balanced approach to catechesis, doctrine, scripture, tradition and spirituality for children.

Most RE classes meet on Mondays, and our Jr Hi Ministry (7th-8th) meets on certain Sunday afternoons throughout the year.
